PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL RETIREMENT SYSTEM (PSPRS)
VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District PSPRS Local Board is seeking one citizen volunteer to serve as an appointed member to the PSPRS Local Board. The term is for four years (remaining partial term is through Sept 2022). The Board meets a minimum of two times throughout the year to address PSPRS membership matters before the Board.
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §38-847(a)(3), the PSPRS Local Board consists of the chairperson of the fire district Governing Board or the chairperson’s designee, two fire district PSPRS members elected by secret ballot and two citizens appointed by the Governing Board, one of whom is a resident of the fire district and one of whom has experience in personnel administration but who is not required to be a resident of the fire district.
The Local Board vacancy requires the appointee to be a resident of the Beaver Dam/ Littlefield Fire District.

The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, September 11, 2019, by 4:00 P.M.
Applications will be reviewed at the Local Board Regular meeting on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. Interviews with applicants will also be held at that time. The Local Board will recommend appointment of one applicant during that meeting, and their recommendation will be discussed by the Governing Board and the appointment confirmed at the Governing Board’s regular meeting on September 19, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
