The Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District PSPRS Local Board is seeking one citizen volunteer to serve as an appointed member to the PSPRS Local Board. The term is for four years (through Sept 2026). The Board meets a minimum of two times throughout the year to address PSPRS membership matters before the Board.
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes §38-847(a)(3), the PSPRS Local Board consists of the chairperson of the fire district Governing Board or the chairperson’s designee, two fire district PSPRS members elected by secret ballot and two citizens appointed by the Governing Board.
The Local Board vacancy requires the appointee to be a resident of the Beaver Dam/ Littlefield Fire District.
Applications can be downloaded from the BD/LF Fire District website or picked up at BD/LF Fire Station 1. Completed applications must be delivered to BD/LF Fire Station 1 located at 630 N Hwy 91, Beaver Dam, AZ. Applications may be downloaded at here
The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, September 7, 2022, by 4:00 P.M.
Applications will be reviewed at the Local Board Regular meeting on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. Interviews with applicants will also be held at that time. The Local Board will recommend appointment of one applicant during that meeting, and their recommendation will be discussed by the Governing Board and the appointment confirmed at the Governing Board’s regular meeting on September 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM.
