It’s with sad hearts that we report the loss of our long-time employee Susan Burch. Susan was the District’s landscaper for many years. She also volunteered on the PSPRS Local Board. Susan passed away on Monday February 12, 2024.

Open Burning Season Resumes – September 22, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. (Arizona Time)
The Fire Chief has rescinded the stop burning order that went into effect on May 25, 2023. Open burning (with caution) may resume effective on September 22, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. (Arizona Time). A burn permit is required and the Fire District must be notified every time before you burn.

STOP BURNING ORDER – Effective May 25, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. (Arizona Time)
The Fire Chief has directed that a STOP BURNING ORDER go into effect on May 25, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. (Arizona time) due to the anticipated increase in warmer temperatures, dryer conditions, and the possibility of other wildland burning conditions.
